Jesse Aaronson

"What a Sorting Hat he makes! xoxo Grandma"

Since this first critical review, Jesse has been hooked on acting.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Jesse is an NYC based actor with a passion for writing and directing. He’s a proud graduate of the University of Michigan with a BFA in Acting Performance, and a minor in Creative Writing. While at Michigan, Jesse was part of a long-form improvisation group called Midnight Book Club, and co-founded Y-ACT: Ypsilanti Active Community Thinkers, a project geared towards teaching socially conscious theater to underrepresented students.

After college, Jesse spent a year in Chicago, acting at Drury Lane Theatre as well as in the Chicago Premiere of Yen by Anna Jordan at Raven Theatre. Jesse then moved to New York City where he has appeared on Broadway (Tom Stoppard’s Tony Award Winning Leopoldstadt), Off-Broadway (The Play That Goes Wrong), on television as a guest star on Law & Order: SVU, as well as in numerous commercials and print ads.

True to his Colorado roots, Jesse is an avid hiker, biker, runner, skier, and lover of all things outdoors. He is a die hard Denver Nuggets fan and a devoted follower of the Michigan Wolverines. Jesse is also a book, music, and film lover. His favorite movies are School of Rock and Paris, Texas.
